Hi! I would like to apply to boarding school this year! However, I don't know which boarding school to apply to!

I am looking for a:
a co-ed boarding school
a boarding school where they are very strong in English and literature

I am considered very artsy, so a boarding school that would fit that would be great! I also don't care if there's a dress code or not!

If you could please answer this question for me and tell me why the boarding school is right for me, I would be forever grateful!!!! :)
Thanks in advance!

Based on the schools we’ve received information from and in some cases visited/toured/interviewed, I’d throw the following schools out there for you to start with:

Thacher (in California)
Groton (in Massachusetts)
St. Paul’s (in New Hampshire)

I think it’s parents’ weekend at many schools this weekend, so you’ll hopefully get more input soon.

There is just something about Choate that I like. I got a very welcoming vibe on both of my tours and interviews. I really don’t know what else to say. Most of the top schools all offer similar courses of study and are similar in extracurricular opportunities. You really can’t go wrong. There is just something I like about Choate that I can’t really articulate.

Edit: You really have to visit schools to find out which school is right for you.
