Which building did you get?

Rieber triple here

Triples too. Shared bath.

Is the lobby this ugly?
"The lobby, with its white-tiled floors, doctor's office-style brown leather chairs, potted plants and absolute silence could easily be confused for a hospital waiting room. " Or am I misinterpreting this article?

Edit : Does anyone have the current Hedrick Summit floorplan for a shared bath room? Thanks !

HAHA... It just sounds really.... formal, if that's the right word. hopefully it's not that bad.

here's the plaza floor plan:

uh...i'm going to be a freshman and i got assigned to rieber vista/triple/shared bath. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN? I hope this doesn't mean that I got a suite...because I wanted to experience the social dorm life!

^ It's a hall moosey. Suites get singles in 10-room configurations.

Is the plaza floor plan similar to the shared-bath rooms at Hedrick Summit?

For me it only says "DeNeve Plaza", it doesn't say what kind of room (double/triple, etc). Does anyone know why that is?

Nevermind.

Rieber Hall is "Primarily designed for single upper division students, most of the rooms are double occupancy with shared bath." (Thanks mnucla) I'm still not satisfied! I want a res. hall...as hard as that is to believe haha

I got Rieber Hall triple.

"Rieber Hall is "Primarily designed for single upper division students, most of the rooms are double occupancy with shared bath.""

What?

I think that's the description for Rieber Vista, if I remember correctly.

Yeah. Moosey just mistyped it.

wow..sorry, i meant rieber vista

Rieber Hall Triple. I was surprised to see that the email went to my bulk mail. Yahoo has no UCLA love.

I know nothing about the hall, but it seems to be one of the closest on the map (to the rest of the school that is). That's a plus right?

Deneve triple....

hope my roommates are decent.

Building: RIEBER HALL
Room Type: Triple

WOOT! I'm excited with whatever I get!

Go Rieber 2006-2007!

Rieber Hall looks awesome, I've been there! My only complaint is the small rooms...but that's in every hall...

how come i requested a hall and got a plaza isnt plaza supposed to be harder and if it says reiber vista shared bath does it mean 1 bath 3 or per 6 if we are sharing it with the adjacent room?

I'm not sure about whether its harder to get into a plaza.. but yes shared bath means that you're sharing a bathroom btwn your room and the room next to you. So, if you both have triples, it'll be shared btwn 6 people.

I think most incoming freshies this year put res. halls as their first choice, so I would think plazas are easier to get.

I also got a triple in Hedrick Hall. besides the distance, is Hedrick even that bad?? Just as long as its social I'll be happy.
