which business major?

I love traveling, and i hate routine. I hate waking up everyday going to the same place, sitting on the same place doing the same thing n going home. and doing it everyday. I like changes, events, and interesting things going on. traveling overseas would be a great thing as well.

so which business major allows that? accounting? finance?
international business is a bit obvious but i dont want to learn a new language..

just do finance and try learn as much as you can about consulting....double major in something like computer science or information systems

so finance= less math n more fun?

I have a question. Why do we have to double major in computer science or information systems in order to gain fun in our career? Do they help?

"just do finance and try learn as much as you can about consulting....double major in something like computer science or information systems"

Pre-medwannabe: Did you mean that finance is both a gold's and happines's mine? Do we really have chance to travel a lot if we are consultants?

Usually if you do consulting at one of the big 3 or 4 firms you end up doing a lot of traveling. But I mean, it's not like you'll be flying to cool places all the time. I think Monitor is actually one of the firms that doesn't travel as much as say, McK.

I think Finance would be enough of a major, but to get into consulting you're going to need really great grades and come from a great undergrad.

Anyway, judging from your post, I think consulting would be a great fit for you. Look at the Vault Guide to Management Consulting for more information.

do supply chain management. There is always something new, always a different fire to put out, and a demand to travel and think of new ways to buy and distribute products. finance will not get you a job that falls outside of the routine.
