Which calc class to take?

<p>Hey guys,</p>

<p>What are the differences between Math 115 and 185? I understand that the latter is honors and more theoretical, but is it much more difficult to get a solid grade in? How are the grading scales and the like? I'm finishing up AP Calculus, and have done alright in it. I'm not taking the AP test because I want to start with Calc I in college instead of Calc II.</p>

<p>Well, if it is like other honors calc courses, the honors one may actually be easier to get a good grade in, in a sense. A lot of time the curve is aimed at a higher point, but the material is much harder and it requires a lot more work. If you find it interesting, take honors, it can’t hurt.</p>

<p>But I am just going off of honors/reguar Calc 3 and Calc 4</p>
