Hi … I’m starting to plan my study abroad for the fall 2016 semester. I know I want to go to Spain … I just can’t decide where. I want to go somewhere that will really immerse me in the Spanish language. Also I know that I don’t want to go to Barcelona or Madrid because I think they will be too touristy and that’s where everyone goes for study abroad lol. Right now I’m looking at Sevilla… I’m basically looking for the traditional Spain experience with other fun things dispersed. Any suggestions?!
I have a friend who’s studying in Salamanca. It’s a few hours outside Madrid and a pretty old student city - the uni dates to 15th century or something so the campus is spread out in the city. There’s quite the night life with lots of Erasmus students and the like, and my friend seems to really enjoy it there.
