Which class(es) on your schedule makes you nervous?

Physical Geo. I normally wouldn’t worry about this class, but I got saddled with the only brutally difficult professor in the department.

I’m nervous about Statistics. I’m so-so in math, and I have such a hard time remembering formulas.

@clarinette52: I took introductory stats last spring. You shouldn’t have a problem with it; it’s a pretty do-able course, and you’ll become best friends with your calculator.

I’m looking forward to my Peace Studies class but the required books for it are really big, and I’m nervous about the amount of reading that I may need to do for it.

Re: Circuits. Pretty easy class. The only part I thought was tricky was mutual inductance and timing stuff but those were close to the end. Non-engineering majors who take basic circuits always seem to think it’s hard though.

Re: Stats. Helluva lot harder than probability. The beginning is easy but it ramps up really hard really fast. I can’t even remember the painful topics because I’ve blocked them out.

I took the equivalent of this class at my school. The first week we were assigned a 25-30 page paper for the semester on a topic that we would be interested in studying for the rest of our college career. Talk about pressure!

That said, I’m nervous about my upper-level history classes. If we were assigned 30 pages at the beginning of junior year I kind of hate to see what the next level of classes are like. At least the course topics are interesting, and I have some of the better professors from the department so I’m hoping it won’t be too miserable.

all of them…
but seriously I heard calc 3 and statics were really hard. I’ve looked over my linear algebra book I just ordered and it actually seems interesting and not very difficult. hope I’m not jinxing it…

Well, I’m nervous right now because I won’t know for sure what classes I’ll be taking until less than 24 hours before classes start, and I might not even get the classes I want, lol. But out of all the classes I’m planning to take as of now, I’m probably most worried about Chinese, since I haven’t been to Chinese school in years and have forgotten pretty much everything. And back when I was in Chinese school, I was definitely not a star student, lol. But I’m even more worried that I will not get the section of Chinese I want or not get it at all this semester. I really wish my school would have let us pick our classes a lot earlier.

Actually I am in college, a sophomore at that! I am just in a remedial math course, as I stated I’m terrible at math!

Also don’t mind the “!” I’m not shouting, just overly fond of the “!” when online. :)

Honors Real Analysis…

Worried about starting a new language! And about taking an upper-level poli sci class…

I’m not too worried about any particular course (well, maybe chemistry), just my schedule in general. I’m taking 18 hours, but I also work in a department office and my days are going to be very busy because I have to work at least 8 hours a week. That’s not a huge time commitment, exactly, but just due to the times of my classes it’s going to be hectic.

My Advanced Greek Odyssey class…

I’m worried about my Experimental Psych class. 5 credits and people say it’s the hardest class in the psych department. 60% of the class gets a C.

Just thinking of having to take that makes me want to curl up into a fetal position in a corner.

@corey- I took a senior level class my 2nd semester. It’s fine :).

The Physics course that I’m taking. I’ve never taken physics and it’s been 3 years since I’ve taken a math class. Plus, it’s 100% online.

Yeah, sorry if this sounded like high school, but I’m in the honors program at my uni so I called it “honors.” The class is actually called “First-Year Seminar in English:Bloomsbury Group,” which is intended for the honors kids.

Swing dancing…I have no dancing experience whatsoever and I’m very clumsy lol

My intermediate French class…I’m so scared! My french teacher in HS was a little bit too lenient :/
