<p>It’s either that or wait til Sophomore year, so I don’t know, I was thinking since it would be my only class I could really focus on it. Because I’ve never taken a college level science it is hard to gage how well I will handle it.</p>
<p>People who get off on the chem schedule get kind of screwed because the school won’t have as many profs teaching CHEM 101 second semester - so you can have one sucky professor teaching and then you’re stuck (this happened to a friend of mine who got off on the physics schedule - horrible experience). You’re just going to have more choice if you stay on track.</p>
<p>I would NOT attempt science classes during the summer. It is way too hardcore (speaking from experience). I would take the chem on track and save some fluff class (i.e. not science) for summer school.</p>
