Which class should I take next semester?

It's a college now class.

CIN 100 Introduction to Film

My major is going to be Political Science/International Relations so the first class fits perfectly and I've been planning on that one anyway. However, I have a more than casual internest in film and movies and I have the teacher now for another class and he's great. I'm not using these for credit, I'm just using them to look better and to learn about a bunch of topics my school doesn't have.

Does it matter if I take courses relating to my major even though I'm only a junior? Will the course even help me in the future?

In reality, it doesn’t really matter if the course relates to your major since just the fact you are taking an actual college class in itself is great already but it can help with your future since it can help you learn about a major that you claim that you already like or you can explore other interests and see if political science is something you really want to do.

But imo, you should stick with the political science course since you can get a head start on learning about a major you really want
