Which class should I take through dual credit?

I have to have one more dual credit class (course taken at local college) to graduate with honors at my high school. The problem is, I can't decide which class to take.

Which one would look best to admissions counselors?

Intro Sociology (online course)
College Algebra
Intro Accounting

Well, how far in math have you gotten so far? College algebra, I assume, is like algebra I - extremely easy and assuming you’re a senior, I’m sure you are pass that point by now.

Depends on your interest really. I always though sociology seemed interesting so that would be my personal choice. Just go with which one you would like more. It doesn’t ALL have to be about what adcoms like :)

Just take what you’re interested in. The adcoms will be looking for commitment and interest to a subject. By themselves, there is no difference to them whether you take intro to waste management or intro to physics.

I agree with the other two posts…follow what your interests are. For Sociology, it is an online class and if you haven’t taken an online class before it may be harder or easier. I would just take into consideration that the online class might be a more independent class and you might have to have good time management skills. (Just a heads-up if you haven’t taken online courses.)

Sociology was a great course though, a must for anyone.

Thanks, everyone! I think I’m going to go with accounting. Although I am pretty interested in sociology, I’m not sure how well I would do with an online course. Plus, accounting will probably be the most beneficial for me and will have more real-life uses than the sociology.

Thanks again!
