I can either take Chorus or Humanities to get an art credit. Humanities is considered very difficult but I know that colleges like to see performance in the arts. Which would look best to colleges?

Can you sing?

probably humanities

I mean I’m not an awful singer but I think I would enjoy Humanities more.

Then take Humanities! Always be in classes that you think you’ll enjoy.

Problem Solved!

What does “Humanities” consist of?

It’s basically philosophy, literature, music, and visual art that can be taken for English or art credit.

They’re both pretty much equal in terms of college admissions, though humanities might be better because it’s a “real” class. Colleges don’t have any special preference for performing arts classes.

I currently take Humanities and I like it. I think it would be fun for you. Well of course, it entirely depends on your teacher and stuff but don’t base it off entirely on my perspective.
