Which class should I take?

I can either take Honors Calculus or AP Statistics during my senior year. I was hoping to take them both, but I gotta take another year of French or else I won't graduate. I'm thinking about being an economics major. So, which class should I take? I know AP classes are better than Honors, but I'm still not sure.

your school doesn't offer AP Calculus (AB or BC) ?... I would take honors calc.

Nope. My school doesn't offer a lot of classes. It's a pretty bad school.

Wow. At my school you have to have either taken calc or be taking it to take AP statistics. I think calc would be more useful, but I hear Statistics is easy.

i would take pre calculus for sure

So I should still take Calculus, even though it's only an Honors course and is not AP?

Suppose so. Sure you can't take both? Cut out a elective or something?

There's no way I can take both. French 2 is offered during those classes. May I ask, why Calculus over Statistics?

I've heard that colleges like if you've finished calc in high school.

One of my teachers said that a student should take calc or ap stats depending on their future major. I'm guessing since you plan to be an econ major, you're going to have to take lots of math courses in college anyways! Your college may not even offer you credit for AP Stats, and you'd probably end up taking it again in college anyways. Correct me if I'm wrong anyone, I wouldn't want to give out bad advice.
I took AP Stats this year and Im tkaing H Calc next year so I never ahd to choose between the two...

AP Statistics would probably pertain more to actual Economics (as well as giving you AP credit) but Calculus is more mathematically "invigorating" and may help you more in the long run.

But then again, pick what you'd like to know more about! :)

Calculus is more important IMO, regardless of the level of difficulty.

Calc definitely.
