So my GC told me today that, due to a scheduling conflict, I have to choose between Biology II and Psychology next year. I can't take both, something I originally wanted to do.

I guess I should describe both classes:

Biology II: We don't have AP Bio, and this is far from it. This year only six kids took it, and they had study halls most of the time, although every once-in-a-while the teacher would make them read an article dealing with biology and MAYBE summarize it or something. The first 2 quarters everyone got 100, even if they did nothing. The 3rd quarter a couple of kids got 97s for sleeping every day, and by this I mean EVERY day, but the rest still got 100s. I mean he still talks about Biology; there just wasn't any work involved. This may change next year, however, as a large number of students are signed up for the class, expecting it to be easy, so there will probably be definitive lesson plans next yr.

Psychology: Again, no AP Psych here. This class involves a little bit more work; you have to do worksheets, etc regularly; however, lots of extra credit is given and he goes over the quizes as a 'review' with you the day before (the teacher is the man, though, I should add). It's not very fast-paced, but you still learn about half of the topics or so that would be on the AP exam, so it's a class of some value.

So which one...Bio II or Psychology?

Basically, both are blow-offs, I know. That's why it's hard for me to choose. My intended major is Bio(medical?) Engineering, so i figured I'd take Bio II, although I wouldn't mind taking Psych. What do you guys think?

Also: will colleges know how rigorous these classes are?
