I am an incoming freshman at UCLA this fall. I was wondering if anyone can give me suggestions as to which classes to pick at UCLA for a pre-med direction. I am currently undecided on my major and have signed up for the 1st orientation session this summer. Which courses fill up the quickest and which courses should I sign up for?
I am interested in potentially majoring in cognitive science, psychology, or psycobiology.

they’ll teach you all that stuff at orientation and since you are in the first one i don’t think any of them are going to “fill up” before you get to sign up

sections with easy professors fill up the fastest.

I notice labs fill up extremely fast.

You should be fine for your first quarter, especially since you have first session.

You’ll learn what fills up fast once you get here and you can always watch the enrollment counts via the Registrar online. I’m too lazy to look up the link, so just google “UCLA Schedule of Classes” and look up the class for the term you want.

The schedule for Fall 09 should be up June 8.
