Which classes to take prior to transferring

I'm planning to transfer into a chemical engineering program after two years at my own college.

The thing is, I'm wondering exactly how many science and math classes to take. The requirements state that you need two chem classes and two calc classes (as well as the english requirements) but I'm wondering if I need to take more, if only to simulate the "weeding out" that most engineering programs do. You know, like Bio, or some other more advanced math (after Calc II) or something.

I mean, I could just go ahead and take a bunch of liberal arts courses to bolster my GPA, but I'm wondering if they're going to just look at the science courses.

If you haven't started CC yet, i think the best advice is to take your GE first. You never know if your major will change in a year. After you get the GE done, then take your major pre-reqs. What school do you want to transfer to. There are many guaranteed transfer agreements if you want to be on the safe side. Good luck.
