<p>Im leaning towards either Pepperdine or Rutgers. I'm not quite sure yet..
Have any suggestions? Know anything like social life in these schools? Pros and Cons of these schools?
I know Rutgers is giving me some scholarships, but not sure yet on Pepperdine since i didnt get anything yet on finaid.
Northeastern, NJIT, Stonybrook are pretty much giving me full rides, but i dont realli wanna go there since it was my safetys.</p>
<p>But in regards to Pepperdine I'd focus on the rules and religion that you'd have to follow. If you went there you'd have to go to services almost every week and follow some very strict rules. It has a great reputation, especially if you want to work in California, but you have to get through it and graduate to reep the benefits.</p>
<p>Students at Pepperdine seem to love it and actually party as much as anyone else just do it off campus and spend the night. My D stayed over a night and loved the students she met, very down to earth. There is a monthly convocation but it is more ethical issues vs religious and most of them are interesting speakers . There are not services every week. It was the only school my D got no money at however but otherwise it was tied for her top choice. Gorgeous campus, the library had wall to wall windows with panoramic ocean views(not sure how you could concentrate there!</p>
