Which College and Why?

<p>Given these options, which college would you choose (mechanical engineering major with possible double major in English) and why?</p>

<p>Baylor University - Full Ride Scholarship
University of Texas at Austin - $3000 Yearly Departmental Scholarship
Texas A&M University - Full Tuition Scholarship
Georgia Tech - No scholarship money, no need-based financial aid, out of state tuition
Oklahoma University - Full Ride Scholarship </p>

<p>If “full tuition” means you must pay for dorm room and meal plan, and “full ride” means those are covered, take one of the full rides at Baylor or Oklahoma.</p>

<p>Texas and GT are probably better schools overall, but not worth the price difference.</p>

<p>It really depends on what your family can comfortably afford. I wouldn’t go into dept if you can get a free ride at a school like Baylor.</p>
