Which college guide is best?

Which college guide is best?

i like princeton review for comprehensive.. and college p-r-owler for individual colleges

Fiske is great. I found it quite comprehensive and usable.

yeah..fiske and princeton review are great.. u should also check out some online guides..like campusdirt.com, its based on student opinions.there is also **************, if u want to know more about an individual college.

you know, I like fiske's guide because it doesn't just reduce a college into a bunch of ratings. But that also means informatino is harder to glean from it than from the princeton review.

It's not about a specific college... but The Naked Roommate is good and it's funny too.

I like the book "Admission Matters" for a good general introduction to the college search/selection process. A free chapter is at the publisher's website at http://media.wiley.com/product_data/excerpt/78/07879796/0787979678.pdf

My fav by far was something called Students' Guide or Insiders' Guide to the top schools in the America.

Reviews of each school from 3 students who give different aspects of life at their school. Accurate too.

I've seen that book. It's pretty good. But I think my personal favourite is the college p r o w l e r (for some reason it finds that word offensive) series.
