Which college I should apply to ? Transfer student from Australia

<p>Hi all,</p>

<p>I am preparing my transfer application to transfer from Sydney,Australia to the US. I am confused which uni I should apply to . At the moment I am studying in UTS Sydney,to be honest it is not a really great uni it is just okay . My current nationality is Indonesia by the way. My GPA is not really high just 2.8 and this semester I am trying my best to hit 3.0 . </p>

<p>I am thinking abut Loyola Marymount (LMU) in LA ,Pepperdine U ,Umass Amherst or maybe Suffolk U in Boston . What do you think of my choices ? Any other suggestion ? My friends suggested me to go to SMC ( Santa Monica College) for one or two semesters before getting into LMU in order to complete some LMU's core subjects.</p>

<p>Which of these four colleges do you think will accept me to transfer into second year? Cos at the moment I am in my second year of studies in Sydney majoring in Marketing.</p>

<p>Hi I looked at Suffolk and they seem to be really nice. Perhaps email them and ask them about your particular situation. I too am moving from Aus. :)</p>
