Which college is best illinois institute of tech or universiy of st.thomas, minessota?

Hey guys!
I'm a B.E graduate from India and I have a dilemma in selecting the university. Please suggest which university will be the best for MS in electrical engineering

Well, MIT is the best for MS in electrical engineering LOL. It’s not an epic MIT vs Stanford thread but still congrats on your offers from two schools. For Engineering, Go for IIT. Both schools have very low ranking if that matters but IIT is more renowned as an Engineering institution. The thing that makes IIT so popular is it’s location- CHICAGO!! It has been voted as one of the best and safest cities to live in. The weather can be very annoying in Chicago. Summers are quite pleasant. Being in Chicago can offer you everything from jobs to nightlife and girls. You’ll find a lot of nerdy Asians in IIT as well. Well not one of the best schools in Illinois, not even in Chicago but the city makes up for it.
IIT 1 U of St Thomas 0
P.S University of St Thomas has a brilliant campus

IIT all the way…

For what it is worth, Illinois Tech is a Ph.D. granting institution in your field. As far as the quality of education you will get, it is much stronger than the rankings would have you believe. I have been a physics professor there for a long time and all my Ph.D. students have found good positions. The employers in the Chicago area know IIT well and hire our graduates.

For a masters-level student, living in Chicago beats Min/StP. IIT = Chicago is your campus. What, specifically, might you be seeking in your program? ^xraymancs could likely field those questions!
