I am from ireland, and applied to schools I had heard of before, with little in mind about which was the better school. I want to study business in college. Any advice will help! thanks alot!

nyu stern for business.

I agree with aznfishy. NYU is great for business, and you'd be in NYC: the business capital of the USA. However, if you're not POSITIVE you want to go into business, I'd probably pick Johns Hopkins; if you do well there, chances are you could get into a good business school afterwards and achieve the same result.

I would say NYU Stern as well if you definitely want to do business. Your opportunities for making connections will be great and you really are in one of the world's business capitals.

Maybe it's just me, but I found the atmosphere of Hopkins to be rather stifling and WAY too cutthroat.

NYU if you're 100% sure about business. Great location, great connections, and great business school. My 2nd choice for business would be BC. If you're not sure about business, I agree with la montage about Johns Hopkins.

NYU. THere are also some good Irish neighborhoods in NY when/if you get homesick.
