<p>Which college would you reccomend between these colleges: Central Michigan, Western Michigan, Grand Valley State, Ferris State, Albion, UD Mercy, Wayne State
For me, the social aspects are college are very important (classes are too though). Which is the best overall experience??</p>
<p>I’ve heard some very good things about GVSU. Nice campus and some decent programs.</p>
<p>I would not personally want to live in Detroit.</p>
<p>CMU, WMU, & GVSU are sort of in a 3-way tie for nice locations that have solid academics and interesting athletics. Albion is also a nice and vastly underrated school if you want more of a small-college experience. There are some billboards in the Detroit area that say Michigan residents with decent grades can go to the U of Toledo for the same price as Ohio residents…so you might want to take a look at Toledo too. Some students in the Detroit area also consider the University of Windsor, a decent Canadian university which is right across the Ambassador Bridge from Detroit.</p>
<p>Thanks for both of those responses guys, and I will definitely check out that Toledo idea. Between CMU, WMU, and gvsu, which is the best in terms of social, athletics, and general fun.</p>
