<p>If your plan includes med school, you want to keep your undergrad student loan debt to a minimum.</p>
<p>I second dodgersmom’s recommendation. Med schools do not offer Financial Aid, so you should avoid loans and accumulate savings to the greatest extent possible.</p>
<p>Preparing for med school involves finances as well as academics.</p>
