I got accepted at these following schools:
UIC GPPA (BS/MD 7/8 years)- slightly over half tuition
Case Western - $24,000 per year
WashU
Cornell University
Northwestern
Duke

Which college should I choose? Suggestions please? Thanks.

DId u get in Northwestern in early action? Northwestern results are not yet out.
Are Northwestern early decisions binding?

I think blue-skies is making the assumption that he got into NU undergrad because Northwestern has only released ED decisions which bind you. If you, blue-skies, are positive you want medicine go with UIC GPPA. If you are not sure you want medicine, go with Northwestern or Duke.

I have already gotten my acceptance to Northwestern but I did not apply Early Decision. It's the same with other schools, like I got accepted into Cornell and WashU early, but I didn't apply early. Well, I plan to go to medical school, but what if I can't keep up with the requirments for UIC GPPA qualifications once I get there?

does that program have hard requirements to maintain?

If you cant maintain the program requirements you probably couldn't get into a medical school from duke/northwestern/cornell anyways. I mean are you expecting to not get a 3.5 or whatever it is at UIC but then easily maintain a 3.75 at duke/northwestern/cornell?

Ok, consider this situation.

If I do well like say 3.75 /4.0 out of Duke/Cornell/WashU/Northwestern, and an ok MCAT score, will I be able to secure a spot in medical school? Whereas if I meet the requirements for UIC GPPA, I can secure my spot in UIC Medical school.

So considering this, which would be a more secure college for me to go to in order for me to get into medschool directly after undergrad?

about northwestern, they released (the majority of?) their decisions online today

Personally I would go to Duke/Northwestern, (Cornell is really hard for pre-med) over UIC since you probably could get into UIC pretty easily with a 3.4/3.5 from Northwestern and a good MCAT. For example if you got into Rice/Baylor you should go because you may never do better than Baylor even if you went to Duke/Northwestern. But if money/removing stress of having to do research and resume padding and MCAT are most important than you should choose the program.
