Which college to chose ? My list, your opinion

<p>Hi guys, I'm a French student and i am applying to american universities. I want to apply to UC SD amongst many others.
I'm very interested in Aerospace engineering so that's my N°1 major choice. And as you know i need to put my order of preference for the UCSD colleges. It has been hard to make myself an opinion, firstly because the descriptions on the internet are very unclear and general. And also because i have the impression that most people seem to put forward the college they are in and neglect the others. So here's my ranking considering what i found on the internet. And considering i want to be an engineer but am not at all a nerd that never leaves the library.</p>

<li>Marshall</li>
<li>ERC</li>
<li>Revell</li>
<li>Sixth</li>
</ol>

<p>I would like to have some opinions on this. And is the college that important in the end ? I mean, most people i read about put a random order and are not unhappy with their college.</p>

<p>The college you’re in really doesn’t matter than much in the end. The only significant difference is your GEs, but if you have a compelling reason, like being able to graduate earlier if you are in a different college, then you can still change your college.</p>

<p>You’re list seems fine. Muir and Warren are generally considered to have easier GEs because there are less requirements, which is why they are often popular choices. Revelle is generally considered to have the hardest GEs, just because they require you to take the most classes. Other than that, it won’t really make that much of a difference.</p>
