Can you please name one 4-year college that does not accept transfer students, besides Princeton University?

From the best of my understanding, all Ivy League colleges except one accept transfers, Caltech and MIT too, so do Chicago, Duke, Washington U at St. Louis and Stanford.

If I am not wrong, all major 4-year colleges do accept colleges, even in limited numbers. Even small liberal arts colleges Williams, Amherst and Swarthmore accept transfers. Even Shimer College in Chicago and Cooper Union accept trnasfer students, but they review all transfer credits on an individual basis.

Olin also accepts transfer students, but they require students to go through four full years in the Olin campus just like any other students enrolled in Olin. Olin only accepts limited transfer credits from a few neighboring colleges with cross-reigstration agreements.

St. John’s, though, in both the Annapolis and Santa Fe campuses, do not accept transfers (just like Princeton do).

Any other colleges that do not accept transfer students, who completed at least of college, at all?

Some B.F.A. programs in music, theater, and design require that students spend four years in the program. Like Soka, St. John, and Olin, it is OK if you already have been in college elsewhere. It is just that your previous credits might not count toward the new degree program.

I believe that Princeton is unique in only admitting students who have not been in college before - other than dual enrollment coursework from when they were in high school.

Indeed. Princeton is so unique, I cannot find a college or university in the United States that does not accept transfer students that have not done college work after high school graduation.

Perhaps there are other four-year colleges like Princeton, where they do not accept transfer students. They could be in the United States, or are based overseas. Nevertheless, I am interested to find out more about it, because they could be unique in their own ways that they do not admit transfer students. For example, Princeton itself has junior papers and senior thesis that need rigorous preparation in the freshman/sophomore years.

As for Soka, Olin, St. John’s and all these BFA programs, they remind me of universities in United Kingdom or Australia, where they recognize prior college/university degrees with course exemptions, but they, too, do not accept transfers.

Most schools do…there are very, very few that don’t, although like other people have said, some schools don’t allow transfers for certain programs, especially ones that are five year bachelors/masters combined.

To be honest, I started this thread because I want to find a college where there are no transfers, not even students who did college for a year or two before deciding college is not for him/her - and that could be material for disappointment for a kid who is rejected by the college concerned. ‘Oh no! I cannot transfer in the college as an undergrad!’
