<p>ahhhh. so many different answers.
The only reason I’m applying to Yale is because I have legacy, but that only helps so much. We all know its close to impossible to get into Yale or Stanford anyway.</p>
<p>As for the comments on weather… I love California. However I love the campuses at Yale and Cornell… and Harvey Mudd’s is terrible… but that’s not something to make a decision off of.</p>
<p>I like Harvey Mudd because it’s small and there seems to be nice people there, and I like the area (I do not want to live in a big city like LA or New York) However, like someone mentioned, the name outside of the engineering field does not have much recognition. That and the lower GPA curve worries me about what will happen when applying for jobs… although I hear they have good connections and their grads tend to go to good graduate universities. </p>
<p>I’m really unsure and more input would be great. I appreciate everything people have commented here. I know this decision will be a hell of a lot easier to make when I see where I actually get in haha. :)</p>
