After getting rejected for ED1 from my dream school, I feel like I am not good enough for any college… I have a decent gpa, bad test scores, and typical high school student’s ECs.
GPA: UW: 3.9 W:4.3 (11APs)
SAT: (M:770 R&W: 660) 1430
SAT2: Math2: 760 / Math1: 750/ BioM: 650
Soley based on these numbers, which schools do you think are on my “level” and which schools do you think I can safely get into?
I feel like I have no chance for reach schools, because the school I ED’ed for was not really a reach based on numbers and I still got flat out rejected
Your test scores are not “bad” for any college. You are having a pity party and it is not good for you. Apply to several colleges in the mid tier range. How are we supposed to help you if you give us no idea of what you want in a college and what your parents can afford to pay.
You have strong grades and scores. You are more than good enough for many colleges.
What is your intended major? What size school are you looking for? In what location and setting? And if you feel comfortable sharing, what was the school you got rejected from, and why was it your dream school? Then people could suggest similar schools that would be slightly less competitive.
@biblee you still haven’t told us what you like about Emory or what you’re looking for in college in general. But anyway, what about Tulane, U Miami and American?
