Which College?

I have been accepted into Colorado College, Case Western Reserve University, and Grinnell College. First of all, are these good colleges to be accepted too? Second of all, I want to major in Business Finance or some type of engineering so I was wondering wich of these schools would be the best? Lastly, I am going to play basketball also so I was wondering which college would be best for that. Thanks!!

CWRU appears to be the only school among your choices that offers a direct engineering major.

If you want to study finance or engineering, it would probably be a good idea to find out if a college even offers those majors before you bother applying to it. Not all colleges offer engineering and business.

What do you mean by saying you are going to play basketball? Have you been recruited? Or do you just mean recreationally?

I don’t know much about Case Western, but Colorado College and Grinnell are great schools. Did you have to put down a major when you applied or does everyone enter undeclared?

CWRU is a great schools and has a highly recognized engineering program. They are also DIII so athletics aren’t as competitive.

Are you a junior testing the waters with a hypothetical?
Or what do you mean you’ll play basketball?

Colorado College and Grinnell are excellent colleges for liberal arts, but not for business or engineering majors.

  • You could do a 3-2 engineering program in partnership with another institution, but that would add time/expense to your program.
