Which college??

Hey whats up,

Im going to apply to ucla in november when the window for application turn-ins opens up. If I am wanting to become an oral surgeon, or more generally a dentist, which college would I be applying to? The college of arts and sciences or... what?

thanks in advance for any info/advice!

Most likely you would apply to the college of letters and science. That has all of the science and humanities majors. But, you can do an engineering major too and apply to the engineering school. You will just have to apply again as a senior in college to dental school later with whatever major you choose.

letters and science!

oooh well i was reading on this forum and i heard that ucla chooses applicants depending on their college rather than majors. is the college of letters and science harder to get into relative to college of engineering or other colleges???

thanks to both of ya for the answers :D

Letters and science is easier to get into than engineering. And it doesn’t make a difference if you are an art history major or a biology major for admissions.

hahah thats good  thanks a lot for the help you guys :D
