which colleges are closest to the beach?

hey

first, thanks for all the help/useful info. u guys hav provided

now, i was wondering which colleges are closest to the beach?
i got into marshall
can someone rank the colleges based on like distance from beach lol

thanks, and was wondering which is the furthest
because based on the campus map it seems sixth or warren are the furthest

thanks

Closest: Muir
2nd Closest: tie between Marshall and Revelle
3rd: ERC
Farthest: Warren and Sixth

Yes! I’m at Muir!

sweet, so im at marshall so pretty close
thanks for the help

That’s the main reason why I chose Muir~ w00t! (:

the furthest ones away , warren and 6th aren’t really that much further away…5-10 minutes versus 10-15 (driving)

dang it… i’ll be at warren

"the furthest ones away , warren and 6th aren’t really that much further away…5-10 minutes versus 10-15 (driving) "

Yeah, but if you’re walking, it’s such a pain. I hate walking uphill.

Dangggg. I wish I had applied for Muir now. It seems amazing compared to the stuff I’ve been hearing about Sixth. D:

im in 6th too XD

i didn’t know what to put for the choices so i just picked 6th as my first choice lolol… now i regret not researching…

you can take the 30 bus (i think, might be the 101) to the beach, faster than walking all the way. It stops right by Muir Field / Revelle

at least one of your suite mates will probably have a car

Haha yeah not to rain on anyone’s parade but I would highly recommend driving or bussing to the beach… walking you have to go down this treacherous cliff and going uphill is pretty bad

the cliff is at blacks beach, you can go to la jolla shores, which is where the bus goes

yeah, if you can take the 30 bus down or drive. if you can’t do that, there are actually two different ways to get down to the beach through the neighborhood across the street from campus (one is a paved road - but it’s a steep walk back - and the other is literally a cliff, so you might have to do a little climbing). There is a path into the neighborhood right across the street from Tioga (one of the reshall buildings in Muir). Walk through there, then walk down the street to a gate with public access to the beach…

Aren’t freshman not allowed to have cars?

? They’re allowed. You just need to buy a parking permit.

Er, I meant “not suggested.”

Parking can be a ***** if you commute to campus, but if you live on campus you can just leave your car in one of the huge ass parking garage’s. its not a problem

Yeah, freshman should not be able to bring cars, *** do they need to take all of the parking spaces for anyway and because of this, upperclassmen get demoted cause they can’t just park overnight. Sorry, just venting, i hate planning my days around parking. Its not too bad, just don’t need to be on campus before 12 and parking will take only a little effort.

wow, they bleeped out w t f that’s hilarious
