I'm very interested in Nurisng(RN) program and I like to get my doctor degree on Nursing(RN). And another question, John Jay College of Criminal Justice is a good college or bad? I'm a little bit curious because I'm also interested in criminal justice

For Nurising: Chico State in california is really good but very compeditive to get into.

Northwestern?!?!!?!?!?

correction: Northwestern does not have a nursing program

I thinnk Northeastern does, however.
Columbia requires applicants to have either a prior RN license or a prior Bachelor degree in another field.

UCLA Nursing

Northeastern has an excellent nursing school and also has a strong program in criminal justice.
The coop program at Northeastern puts its nursing graduates at a great advantage over many other BSN programs. I'm an RN and have had the
privilege of supervising several students during clinical rotations, they come
very well prepared.

lol... where's TourGuide with another witty Northeastern / Northwestern joke when you need one?

............

What about Rutgers College of Nursing and New York Univeristy(Nursing)?

For Nursing and Criminology/Criminal Justice also consider Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL.

Reference Nursing: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=232222

Reference Criminology, I belive it's graduate program is currently ranked in the top 11 per USNews.

The most recent FTIC info from the FSU website:
The middle 50% of the 2006 accepted freshman class is: 3.4-4.1 GPA; 1140-1280 SAT (Critical Reading plus Math); 25-28 ACT.

The top quartile of our 2006 accepted freshman class rivals any selective school in the nation with an average GPA of 3.97, and average SAT of 1340 (Critical Reading plus Math), and an average ACT composite of 30.

I think a few people owe me an apology on the whole Northwestern/Northeastern thing, not the least of whom is the guy I ran into at the Chicago bus terminal a few years back who identified himself as a Northwestern nursing student and gave me a free examination.

Hmmm. Thanks for sharing...I guess.

:-/

Daffodial, isn't nursing categorized as an 'impacted major' at the California State University system? If so, that means that the major is not open to non-residents (OOS), doesn't it?

Also, for another highly regarded nursing bachelor's program, investigate the U of Alabama-Birmingham.

Tourguide, did the Northwestern nurse detect anything that he believed required a series of follow-up visits?

not the least of whom is the guy I ran into at the Chicago bus terminal a few years back who identified himself as a Northwestern nursing student and gave me a free examination.

Yea, I always let random men at bus terminals feel me up . Mmm Mmm Good.

I'm sure there was a medical reason for the exam.

.................
