I was just thinking about AP tests and college, and I know that there are many colleges out there that do not accept AP Scores. Does anyone know of any?

I’m pretty sure Caltech doesn’t, but I don’t know of any others off the top of my head.

St. John’s College doesn’t.

Harvey Mudd uses its own placement tests. Its only mention of AP tests is that a 5 on AP Biology allows taking a biology placement test to place out of the introductory biology course (the AP score by itself is not sufficient to give any subject credit).

[Credit Earned for High School AP or Harvey Mudd Placement Exams](http://www.hmc.edu/about/administrativeoffices/academicaffairs1/incomingstudents1/ap1/hscredit.html)

I think I’ve also heard that Stanford doesn’t give credit for some AP Tests, but I don’t remember which ones.

Stanford’s list is here:

[Office of the University Registrar - AP Credit Chart | Student Affairs](http://studentaffairs.stanford.edu/registrar/students/ap-charts)

But a lot of schools do not give credit for some AP tests, even though they give credit for others. So Stanford is hardly unusual in this respect.

How about USC?
