<p>For the record…virtually ALL schools give need based aid. The thing is that some do not do so for international students…at all. You need to check each school’s website to determine if they do or don’t give aid to international students.</p>
<p>Schools like the Ivies do give need based aid to international students. The trick is getting accepted because not ALL Ivies are need blind for admissions for international students. This info is on each website. The Ivies do not give merit aid at all…only need based aid.</p>
<p>Most public universities do not give need based aid to international students…again…look on the school websites.</p>
<p>Re: Schools that meet full need AND are need blind for international students are HIGHLY competitive for admissions, with less than 10% of applicants being accepted.</p>
<p>As noted above, it’s not what YOU think you can pay…it’s what the schools determine your family CAN pay.</p>
