I really want to go to a 4 yr college. I'm just upset that I didn't take school seriously the first half of high school.

Long story short- I spent too much time worrying about popularity and listening to people telling me that school wasn't important.

I'm a junior now and I did a way better first semester so it bumped my GPA up a bit. My goal this semester is to get at least 3.0 (which WILL happen). How much do you think that will make my cummulative GPA go up?

GPA: 2.44
PSAT- 1540
PLAN (pre-act)- 22

I know those scores aren't low for my GPA, but I want to compensate by doing well on my tests. Maybe my GPA can be overlooked a bit if my sat/act is okay, and maybe the upward climb in grades will help me a bit.

What schools would you suggest? Preferably on the west coast.

I'm already for sure going to apply to:

Cal State Channel Islands
Cal State Northridge
ASU

...............................

Also, I just registered for classes next year. All my classes will be easy so maybe if I get over a 3.0 on the first semester, the colleges will notice it

I swear I'm not all talk. I'm smart, I really am. I just needed to get my priorities in order. I've gotten rid of my distractions and I'm now 100% committed to school.
