<p>Does it matter if I apply to L&S or CALS if I want to be a bio and english major? I was told that you can double major in one school or between schools, so I'm assuming it doesn't matter, but which school would be best?</p>
<p>Don't worry, you get accepted to the university as a whole, not any particular college within it. Putting down a major(s) will help when they assign your advisor for SOAR. Many, or most, change their major after starting college so remember- what you choose now is not etched in stone and can be changed. Your choice will also not make a difference in getting accepted. Do consider L&S, especially if your'e interested in taking Honors courses and an English major, it seems like a good place to start for most people.</p>
