I am currently stationed in Japan (active duty military) so finding information is somewhat difficult. I am a future transfer student wanting to major in Computer Science at UCLA. Which community colleges offer me the best chance to get accepted into UCLA's Computer Science program? So far I hear these CCs are good.

-Diablo Valley
-Laney
-De Anza
-San Mateo
-City College of SF

Any suggestions? Thank you.

City College of SF may lose their accreditation so don’t consider them. De Anza is very reputable, and will give you a good chance.

From what others have told me, it doesn’t matter all too much about the CC I choose (other than CCSF as of now), it more depends on GPA and courses I complete.

So a BETTER question would have to be, which community colleges offer the most courses for CS

KPop, check out assist.org. Once you’re on the website, select the CC you’re interested in, then select UCLA, then select CS as the major.

I have done that. I made an Excel Doc on which CCCs offer required classes for UCLA and UCB.

Am I utilizing this site correctly?
With this info, would it be safe to assume that Laney is the best choice? (based purely on offered classes)
