Which composite ACT score should I send? HELP!!

Hi all! Any help is greatly appreciated:
I took the ACT in both October and September and unfortunately got the same composite score each time. However, the subscores vary with one test having a stronger math and the other having a significantly stronger science. Which score do you suggest I send to a college that does not superscore? Also do you think the reading score matters much? I’m looking at semi competitive schools and plan to go into either medicine or statistics (I know these are at opposite ends of the spectrum lol)

September Composite: 32
Writing: 36
Reading: 32
Math: 28
Science: 31

October Combosite: 32
Writing: 36
Reading: 35
Math: 30
Science: 26 (lol did i fall asleep or something I-) )

@hungryanddriven - you may be better off sending both, so the colleges can take the highest in each section. I have heard that even the colleges that don’t superscore, won’t superscore the composite, will still take the highest in each section, YMMV.

okay, thanks @MedSciBud ! Hopefully they go about it like this

Any other suggestions for if I had to choose one and only one? Sending scores can get expensive…

@hungryanddriven - I am a high school senior like you, so not sure how much my suggestions may be worth. But if your major is language or something related, I would send October’s, but if STEM - it is a tough choice, but probably September’s because S+M/2 = 29.5 vs 28

Personally, I’d submit your October score if you could choose only one. The science section generally isn’t as important to colleges as the math section and your math score is higher for the October date. Your reading score is also higher for October, so I’d go with that test date

i’d say second one if the school doesnt superscore

Thanks guys!!

They don’t charge extra to send both sets of ACT scores.

^ send both. It will not cost you any more money.

@suzyQ7 @londondad I thought that was only the policy for SAT? How do you send more than one score for the same report on ACT?

@suzyQ7 @londondad @hungryanddriven - ACT charges for every test date.
