SUNY Stony Brook
Majors:
-Honors Program in Computer Science
-Applied Mathematics & Statistics</p>
<p>GPA: 3.7 (Major GPA roughly the same)
GRE: 800Math, 600Reading, 4.5 Analytical</p>
<p>Research: Have done research and should get pretty good recommendations. Will be completing an honors senior thesis.
Work Experience: 5 internships in IT, Game Dev/Testing, and Web Development at small companies. (Including one during a school term.)</p>
<p>Haven't taken the computer science GRE and don't like to make assumptions so I won't shout out any ill-informed figures. Just wondering if I had a good shot at T10 schools or is T20 or so a better fit. (For PhD btw)</p>
<p>Don't be afraid to give any advice you have regarding the subject, no matter how harsh! Anecdotes could definitely help me out so that would be nice as well. Any questions you have are welcome, but I feel the information I gave is just about enough for you guys to compare me to what you would expect out of students who get into the top schools or to compare me to students you know who did or did not receive admission to these schools.</p>
