which country to choose for study?

Hi everybody

I would like to study graduate program in the management field. My long term ambition is to get immigration and settle after completion of the course. But i am really confused about the country to choose for study.I would like to choose the country among Canada/Australia(I can't aford the cost for study in the US).Could you please advice me to select the country for study in terms of the following parameters.

1.Easy to get immigration after completion of course.
2.Standard of living and facilities.
3.Living cost.
4.Employment after the course
5.Weather and friendliness of the people.

It would be really helpful for me to get advice from people of this forum .I will really appreciate reply from anybody.

I recommend Canada for everything except weather. If you want nice weather then choose Australia.

If you want to stay after completing your studies, you should read the immigration department website for each of these countries. What are their restrictions on immigration? Do they have specific areas of need? Can you plan your academic program so that you will be a likely candidate for employment in an area of need?

Both of these countries are full of friendly people and have great standards of living. You can be happy in either place.

Wishing you much success.

Hi juliushark and happymomof1

thanks for your reply and suggestions. I really appreciate your responses.

I would also request you to provide some information on various advantages and disadvantages of various aspects as well as some facts for studying in those two countries if you have experience or some of your friends and relatives study or stay in those country.

In this way It will be really helpful for me to come to my decision for choosing one country for study.

I am looking forward to your answers.

I believe Canada is the only country actively seeking immigrants and therefore would be the recommendation. Of course the weather is tough in the winter. Check the link below concerning work permits for graduates of Canadian universities. It would give you time to apply for permanent residence. The other countries would give you a work permit only if you are hired by a local company for skills that are not easily found in the local population.
