Which country would you live in if you had to move outside the US?

^^Because :
-Antarctica is not a country, and as such has no government, no inhabitants besides a couple hundred researchers on the whole continent at any given time, no medical care, no places to procure food, you get the picture
-because antarctica has no government and is nigh uninhabitable, there are no grocery stores nor arable land where you could grow food. The only source of food would be sparse wildlife, which you would eventually not be able to cook because you would run out of wood/oil/whatever because there would be nowhere to obtain these things
-as there are no contracting/construction companies because NO ONE LIVES THERE, you would have to bring and set up your own shelter, and i doubt you could make a suitable permanent shelter by yourself

Nunavut is part of canada, greenland is part of Denmark, etc., so these places at least have several thousand permanent residents and therefore have law enforcement, food sources, etc.

bottom line: personally, i think you’re stupid for asking these questions. but i answered them seriously in the hopes that i could clarify for you.

Then why do animals live on Antarctica?

Edit: Animals live there, so wouldn’t humans be able to live off of the animals?

As I’ve already explained, you would have difficulty being able to maintain a steady diet of game because you would eventually run out of materials you could use to cook it, given the negligible vegetation [just enough to feed a couple arctic hares, but certainly not enough to cook a lot of them, and in any case they’d eventually leave if you kept taking their food] and lack of places where you could purchase, say, gasoline.

Oooooooooh. Oh well. I still want to live there. c:

@Andurz: Watch March of the Penguins.

March of the Penguins? I’ll google what it’s about.c:

You don’t even know what March of the Penguins is???

very important question, Andurz: how old are you?

I’m fifteen. c: I’m sorry, I don’t watch documentaries. I wouldn’t know what it’s about. c: But, it seems interesting!

Edit: Antarctica has electricity!

Okay, as it turns out, there are a few research bases and a small number of families live on/around these bases [my guess is that the parents go out on expeditions frequently and supplies are dropped/transported periodically]. However, I doubt you could live there long-term unless you were a researcher.

i asked your age because well you sounded 13 years old at the oldest. Sorry.

I sound thirteen? Thank you! I loved my younger years. :') Anyway, thanks for trying to explain everything to me. Even though I sounded “thirteen” and very stupid. c:

Edit: After going back and reading my questions, I realize now how stupid I sound. :|

New Zealand. Kea and the kakapo. Wonderful avians. And I’ve read that those who are socially liberal are also more likely to be pro free-market. And then let’s see, what else? People still speak English, and climate is pretty mild year round. Plus a high standard of living.

Lol do I sound young too???

==

Well, Canada and England might also be fine.

I have my eye on a place in New Zealand once the world decides it wants to **** each other up.

OH. And Switzerland. Yay for neutrality!

Canada, Great Britain, and maybe France.

So has anyone considered moving to North Korea?

Germany 10char

^ yeah, right…Totally…

Sweden or Norway.

I mean, it’s Scandanavia. Yay for Socialism!

Germany
Austria
Italy
Japan

If I could learn the languages.

It’s very sweet that all of you have mentioned New Zealand, isn’t New Zealand just the dream country of tranquility, clean air, cute accents and kiwi birds? ;)

To begin with I have never lived in the US, so I wouldn’t have to move out of the US. But if I had to leave NZ, I would want to go to the US. Haha. But that doesn’t make much sense. Asides from those two countries, I would like to live in Spain. But I suck at Spanish so much.
