^^Because :
-Antarctica is not a country, and as such has no government, no inhabitants besides a couple hundred researchers on the whole continent at any given time, no medical care, no places to procure food, you get the picture
-because antarctica has no government and is nigh uninhabitable, there are no grocery stores nor arable land where you could grow food. The only source of food would be sparse wildlife, which you would eventually not be able to cook because you would run out of wood/oil/whatever because there would be nowhere to obtain these things
-as there are no contracting/construction companies because NO ONE LIVES THERE, you would have to bring and set up your own shelter, and i doubt you could make a suitable permanent shelter by yourself

Nunavut is part of canada, greenland is part of Denmark, etc., so these places at least have several thousand permanent residents and therefore have law enforcement, food sources, etc.

bottom line: personally, i think you’re stupid for asking these questions. but i answered them seriously in the hopes that i could clarify for you.

As I’ve already explained, you would have difficulty being able to maintain a steady diet of game because you would eventually run out of materials you could use to cook it, given the negligible vegetation [just enough to feed a couple arctic hares, but certainly not enough to cook a lot of them, and in any case they’d eventually leave if you kept taking their food] and lack of places where you could purchase, say, gasoline.

Okay, as it turns out, there are a few research bases and a small number of families live on/around these bases [my guess is that the parents go out on expeditions frequently and supplies are dropped/transported periodically]. However, I doubt you could live there long-term unless you were a researcher.

i asked your age because well you sounded 13 years old at the oldest. Sorry.

I sound thirteen? Thank you! I loved my younger years. :') Anyway, thanks for trying to explain everything to me. Even though I sounded “thirteen” and very stupid. c:

Edit: After going back and reading my questions, I realize now how stupid I sound. :|

New Zealand. Kea and the kakapo. Wonderful avians. And I’ve read that those who are socially liberal are also more likely to be pro free-market. And then let’s see, what else? People still speak English, and climate is pretty mild year round. Plus a high standard of living.

Lol do I sound young too???

==

Well, Canada and England might also be fine.

It’s very sweet that all of you have mentioned New Zealand, isn’t New Zealand just the dream country of tranquility, clean air, cute accents and kiwi birds? ;)

To begin with I have never lived in the US, so I wouldn’t have to move out of the US. But if I had to leave NZ, I would want to go to the US. Haha. But that doesn’t make much sense. Asides from those two countries, I would like to live in Spain. But I suck at Spanish so much.
