Which CSU for Marine Science/ Env. Science?

I've been accepted to the following CSUs:

San Fran SU
Humboldt SU
CSU Monterey Bay
CSU Bakersfield

I want to major in Marine Science/Oceanography or Environmental Science.
I was hoping if I chose Env Science as my major, I could minor in Statistics or Mathematics of some sort.

I was accepted into the CSU Bakersfield Honors program, but it's still my "last resort" school. I only applied to it because I live only an hour away and could commute from home if I absolutely had to. But for all intents and purposes of this post, lets pretend I'm only considering SFSU, HSU and CSUMB.

I prefer small campuses, and I really want to graduate in four years if at all possible, but I also want a safe and beautiful campus.

How do these campuses rate according to prestige of the academics programs I've mentioned? Also in overall prestige compared to all the other CSUs?
And also how would rate these campuses on ability to be engaged in a work experience program while going to the college, and ability to network so I can find a job more easily once I graduate?

Thanks!

I heard Humboldt is really good for Marine Biology and stuff like that. Considering it’s close to the ocean, you’ll have a lot of exposure to the animals.

My niece will graduate from Cal State Monterrey Bay this May. She originally planned to major in oceanography but ended up in environmental systems something or other. She has been able to do this in 4 years but had to re-take some math classes during the summer. The campus is not pretty. It used to be an old Army base I believe. Her freshman year she lived in dorms that used to be officer’s quarters. On the other hand, it is very close to the beach and near enough to a spectacular coastline.

I live near Csumb and would say that it should have one of the best marine biology programs… It’s so close to Monterey bay, the Aquarium, and ocean labs in Moss Landing(yet most famous, or renowned is owned by san Jose state-lol). But from what I have heard (general word of mouth and minor research) is that csumb is not the best school… due to a lot of things. Be it dorms, teachers, education style, which makes it a pain to transfer out of, and more… It’s in one of the best areas I know. Endless beaches and things to see. But, I’ve heard much more positive from Humboldts program from my research, the rest of your choices I have no say. But I would lean more to Humboldt for environmental programs, by a considerable amount.

humbolt hands down best marine bio undergrad program

I vote for Humboldt
