I know CSUF has a really good business program and I've heard SDSU has a great Business program as well.

What other CSU's has good business programs?? I am planning to transfer in Spring 2015 or earlier. I currently go to Fullerton College.

Hmm okay. well I would like to transfer to a university in Southern Cali. haha

I second SDSU.
Long Beach might have that major, but I don’t know anything about their program.

Yes, Long Beach has a good business program as well.

CSUN, Chico State and Sonoma State have good business programs.

@Gumbymom haha I actually was admitted to CSUN after high school. Went there for a year and just hated the area. Ugh. Biggest mistake ever. :(

Do you want to stay in So Cal to work after you finish school? Which area of business do you plan to concentrate (finance, marketing, info systems, accounting, etc.)?

I would expect business programs to be impacted at most of the CSUs you would consider. So I would suggest getting a handle on the pre-reqs at each school.

@arc918 Yes, I am planning to stay in So Cal after I graduate. I plan to concentrate in marketing.

So perhaps consider CSUF, CSULB & SDSU. It probably comes down to which school you like best after visiting. Good luck!

Thanks! I still have about 2 semesters left to complete the Golden Four and core classes. Gotta raise that transfer GPA too!

@cathym09: Sorry to hear about CSUN. The school was recommended to my niece, so I have no first hand knowledge of their program. I forgot about CSU Fullerton and I agree, that CSULB and SDSU are very good programs.

What’s CSUN?
CSLB and CSUF are very good for business.

@DrGoogle CSUN = Cal State University Northridge.

You are right. I don’t like that one either, I think one of my brothers went there for a semester.

Yeah, the school is not bad but I just hated living in that hot/super dry valley!

Actually, my memory didn’t serve me well, it was Dominguez Hills not Northridge. The hot/super dry is probably California weather for a while.

Oh okay. Actually the weather has gone up to like 105 in Northridge area from the time I was there…
