Which degree combination would be better?

<p>I am planning on attending grad school to study bioengineering, and my career interest is to become a bioengineer. So I was wondering... should I get my undergraduate degree in chemical engineering or bioengineering? </p>

<p>Does it make a difference at all career-wise?
Would there be a salary difference between the two?
Which one would be the better preparation for grad school?
Which degree combination would be more marketable to employers?
What would be the pro or con of selecting one or the other?</p>

<li><p>Chemical engineer has an easier time to find jobs, and they can do what a bioengineer do.</p></li>
<li><p>Chemical tends to make more on average. </p></li>
<li><p>Either would prepare you well for graduate study in bioengineering. </p></li>
