Which degree will most likely help me become a computer software engineer?
I do not know whether it is a bachelor in computer science or in computer engineering.
Computer engineering is usually somewhat more hardware oriented than computer science.
CS is the academic pathway to software engineering, CE is about designing computers. The programming you get in CE is down at more fundamental levels, the basic 1’s and 0’s that get all the bits of hardware talking, code most people don’t even know how to access. So if you want to design the next app, or the next game, or the next business program… go comp sci.
