I guess I made a little mess there. My apologies

To the OP…your list is incredibly top heavy in terms of competitive admissions. The generous financial aid offered by these schools will do you NO GOOD unless you are in the less than 10% of applicants who are accepted. Actually, for international students, it is thought that the acceptance rate hovers closer to 5%.

How are you picking these schools? If it is ONLY for aid purposes, I would suggest you also look at rates of acceptance.

P.S. there is a charge to submit the CSSProfile, and international students are NOT eligible for waivers.

You will also need to take the SAT or ACT and some SAT subject tests for many of these schools. There is a charge for taking and submitting those too. Again, you are not eligible for a fee waiver for this.

Does all international students who are admitted don’t receive necessary aid? Is it (the percent) the ‘mostly’ same for all universities?

gowthamgutha -

No university publishes the numbers of students who were admitted but who decided that the place was not affordable because they don’t know that. All the universities know is that the student decided not to attend.

You need to go to the International Students Forum, and ask the students from your own country who post there what their experience has been.

If 95% of international applicants are not even accepted…that leaves only the 5% who are accepted. Remember…some of these schools are need aware for admissions meaning that your financial situation is considered when your application for admission is considered.

What is your SAT/ACT score, and what is your GPA? Those two items are determining factors in getting admitted to highly competitive schools.
