Which dorm?

Davis '14, baby! Go Aggies!
Now I have some questions that might seem trivial, but I would appreciate it if you guys could answer them. Thanks.

So I’m probably going to apply for the Segundo dorm as my friends who went to Davis before me unanimously recommended it. However, I was wondering if Segundo offered triples and quads. Also, is it possible to choose who to room with? Thanks.

Segundo does not have quads – they may have triples depending on the total amount of freshmen who matriculate for next year. I would honestly take a good look at Tercero because they are opening up a few new dorm buildings next year, while Segundo is closing all four of their high rises while a new main lounge is being created. You can choose your roommate as long as they fill out the exact same information as you (as well as putting your name in their application and vice versa).

Segundo! That’s where I’m rooming for sure.

I’ve seen a quad at reagan (part of segundo) this year. But reagan is not somewhere you would want to live at. Its very homey, but very small.
Segundo… I tihnk they are renovating the high risers next year? im not too sure about that, but yeah. The segundo north buildings (I’m in one) are extremely nice. You are very lucky if you are able to get one, they are relatively new.

They are building 4 new buildings in tercero right now… not sure when they are open. But they look amazing. There are 2 other ones that were built like 3 years ago in tercero, they are extremely nice too.

Only bad thing about Tercero I would think is… the cow smell. Other than that, its a great place to live. Oh! and the store at tercero has amazing smoothies, where as the store in segundo doesnt even make smoothies.

Oooo! but segundo is closer to the arc (gym), walking distance, no need to bike :D
