I haven't yet done any college summer programs and am not sure which of these would be the most interesting. I don't want something too labor intensive and definitely something that looks great on a college application and that I will have fun with. These are my options: Institute of Advanced Mathematics: Dynamical Systems and Chaos Theory or Institute of Clinical Psychology
Help please?

I mean, it just depends on what you want to spend your time studying this summer. I attended Duke TIP a few years ago, and psych was a pretty popular class. It’s just really interesting. But the math program also sounds fascinating (way cooler than the standard Algebra and Geometry offered when I went).

Also just keep in mind that less important than the class is the overall experience. You’ll construct a group of friends based not only on your classmates but on your hall, etc. Only a few of my friends were from my class; most were on my hall or the hall adjacent to mine. You’re only in class a few hours a day, and the rest (no homework!) is spent running around like a crazy person with whomever you choose.
