Which engineering program? CCP&UCI

After getting rejected from UCLA and surprisingly UCSD with a minimal hope for Cal, i thought i would go ahead and choose between Cal Poly Pomona and UCI for undergrad program. Then i would go to a good graduate school.

Which school has better engineering program for electrical engineering? Which one offers me a better chance to be prepared for graduate school?

Lastly, I heard there is an agreement between CPP and Cal poly slo about junior year transferring. So if i maintain a good gpa, around 3.6-3.8, would it be easy to transfer into slo?
If so then would CPP be a better option?

Did you apply to SLO for undergrad?

yes i already did but i didn't make it.

Definitely UCI. You'll have more of a "college experience" in a great city, Irvine. Have you visited either school yet? CPP is more of a commuter school. Also, transferring after 2 years might seem like a good idea now, but once you get to college you'll realize staying 4 years at one institution is in your best interest.

are UC to UC transfers done easily? I really wanted to attend SD or LA. I know that UCs don't like to take csu students unless theres room after the CC students

I know UC-Santa Cruz has a transfer agreement with UC-Berkeley (possibly a 3-2 dual degree engineering program?)

anyone know about the transfer agreement between ccp and slo?

I'm not sure about the 'easily' part but it can sometimes be done. I wouldn't count on it though especially in engineering where your GPA might not be tops compared to other majors.

But, chances are that after you spend a couple of years at whatever school you pick, you'll be happy enough there and will just stay.
