which engineering

if i want to develop new cosmetics...should i majorin in chemical engineerin or some other major

Likely cheme :).

chemE for sure. I've heard of chemE's working for companies inventing and discovering better ways of making more efficient shampoo, and other kinds of stuff

chemical engineering for sure... or maybe bio-engineering if you want to actually build a new living face

okay thanks alot this also brings up another questions
what are the courses for chemical engineering...is it a lot of chemistry

materials science, fluid mechanics, chemical reacter engineering, kinetics, thermodynamics, organic chemistry, general chemistry, physical chemistry, instrumental analysis are all the primary courses.

ha. this thread seemed to die out once i stated all the critical courses in chemE.

You bet ChemE has a lot of chemistry. You're basically a chemistry major taking a lot of engineering classes at the same time. Courses include calculus, linear algebra, differential equations, general physics, computer science, general chemistry, organic chemistry, physical chemistry, mass and heat transfer, instrumental lab, and other lab/design courses.
