Hi, I was wondering which of the English 45 classes is the best to take 1st semester....A B or C? I've heard that A is very dry...and hard. Would C be the best to take first? Or B?

bump bump bump

I think they can be taken in any order. I would say it depends on your interest and the professor. Professors might have slightly different styles (one which you might prefer over another) and some are known to be great, such as the 45a prof who won the teaching award. If you are bored senseless by Chaucer or Spenser or Shakespeare or whoever you are going to read in 45a, why would you take it? If the same is true for the early modern novel stuff in 45b, why take it? If the same is true for the content of 45c, why take it? Take what sounds most interesting with the professor that is supposed to be best. If learning a handful of Middle English sounds like a thing to avoid, avoid it.

thanks for the advice!
